Groups that meet.  The Art Williams </div> <div> home the first Thursday of the month at 9:30am is where the first</div> <div> group meets.  An afternoon group meets in various homes the second </div> <div> Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30pm.  The encouragement is for everyone </div> <div> to join a GFG meeting closest to their home, and most harmonious to </div> <div> their time schedule.  Each group chooses their individual study material, </div> <div> meeting times, and format.  Please consider joining this learning experience.   </div> <div> We pray new groups will be added in the near future. <div> The men "cook and serve" the breakfast, having agreed in pairs,  to serve </div> <div> those attending.   (This gets "interesting" at times..but always delicious!) </div> <div> Bibles are opened, read, and discussed in an informal, non-judgmental way</div> <div> to the edification and strengthening of all.  The session closes with </div> <div> intercessory prayer for all needs <div> We have combined our Ladies Bible Study Groups and now meet as </div> <div> one Group at 1:00pm twice a month, the first and third Tuesdays.  </div> <div> Our Group uses prepared lesson plans obtained from a variety of sources, </div> <div> on topics of special interest to the ladies.  Prayer concerns are an </div> <div> important part of our meetings.</div> <bR> <div>  <A who </div> <div> partcipate.  At-home study is provided (with monthly supervision/consultation </div> <div> with the Pastor) as is a program that utilizes time during the Sunday morning </div> <div> Sunday School program. Since we all are gone from time </div> <div> to time, we are blessed by this number. We meet once a month on the first Tuesday</div> <div> of each month at 9:30 a.m. Our purpose is to assist Pastor in anything he needs </div> <div> for preparation of Sunday and special services; i.e., Advent and Lenten seasons. </div> <div> We are responsible for maintaining the sanctuary, providing flowers for the altar </div> <div> area and the care of all linens, preparing Holy Communion, and any other service </div> <div> involving the sanctuary. Our officers are elected for a one-year term. Currently we are reaching </div> <div> out to the Kingsland area only, but hope to expand to neighboring towns in the future. </div> <div> Skill Buddies uses practical life skills to reach out to those who participate. We have </div> <div> small stations to teach about things such as gardening, tool use, leather stamping, </div> <div> gift wrapping, snack making, crafts and, of course, JESUS. Children are free to </div> <div> explore each station and perform each skill as volunteers explain and share how </div> <div> God relates to the activity being done. We also include songs and skits performed </div> <div> by our youth using puppets.
